The Rising Star/Newcomers
Ball is designed to level the playing field and make the competition fair
and fun for everyone. It is intended for students and teachers from the same
experience level who want to compete just for the fun of it or who are working
toward a higher level of dancing. You can compete against a grade or against
other competitors in the same level as yourself.
The Rising Star/Newcomers Ball will be a friendly and socially oriented competition.
Every age, ability & dance level, newcomers through gold will feel a sense
of accomplishment. The competition will run during the day, leaving the evening
for social and fun activities at night.
Enjoy a leisurely dinner and then its show time! The evening will begin with the Pro/Am scholarships, ending with the Professional divisions in the Hotlanta ballroom, the Blackpool of Pro/Am.
