Welcome to the 15th Anniversary Edition of Hotlanta Dance Challenge 2011. Last year was our first year as organizers of this great competition and many of you began this venture with us. We had the privilege to make new friends and to renew old friendships that will last a lifetime.
We now invite you back to celebrate a milestone of this great event that has become one of the most recognized and well attended ballroom dance competitions in the country.
At Hotlanta 2010, we were very proud to showcase our Southern Vintage theme as we brought you the most beautiful and classy competition with the well-known Southern Hospitality that characterizes this region. Each day we provided a growing display of natural flowers that made a huge impact on all of our guests since it blended our cosmopolitan city with the countryside living that surrounds us. It was our goal to make you feel at home and we wanted to show you our appreciation for your continued support of our event.
This year’s theme is the “Mount Olympus and the Legend of the Greek Gods”. Emerge yourself into a culture that transformed the world as it was led by those whose focus and determination was to be the best and to become the god’s favorite. The “Mount Olympus” will come to life on the huge ballroom dance floor where all the competitors will strive to achieve their own personal goals as well as to show the judges, their friends, and the rest of the audience the beauty of Dancesport. There has never been a more goal oriented and self-achievement civilization that taught us the importance of perseverance than the “Greeks”.
The 2011 Hotlanta Dance Challenge will be hosted at a new temporary home. We have made it even more convenient for you to come and visit us as we are next door to the Atlanta Airport. At the “Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel” you will find attentive service and extraordinary surroundings. This facility’s Main Ballroom allows us to provide a 9,000sf dance floor, and you will see why it is the perfect venue for a dance competition. It is situated adjacent to the airport and features complimentary airport transportation.
